The Building and Development Branch offers a number of its Building Code courses in a self-directed/home study format. These courses are designed to allow students to progress through the material at their own pace. They offer an alternative to classroom delivery for students that may not be able to easily access training offered by the Ministry's delivery agents, or who prefer to learn in their home or workplace. Guideposts, self-assessments and solutions are included in the self-contained manuals.
The following training courses are geared to help experienced building practitioners prepare for the Ministry's Building Code qualification examinations.
