Amending O. Reg 403/97
(The Building Code)

Note: Since the end of 1998, Ontario Regulation 403/97 has been amended by Ontario Regulations 152/99, 278/99 and 593/99. Previous amendments are listed in the Table of Regulations in the Statutes of Ontario, 1998.

1. Section 9.5 of Ontario Regulation 403/97 is amended by adding the following Subsection:

   9.5.7A. Combined Spaces

   9.5.7A.1. Combined Living, Dining, Bedroom and Kitchen Spaces

   (1) Despite Subsections 9.5.4, 9.5.5, 9.5.6 and 9.5.7, where living, dining, bedroom and kitchen spaces are combined in a dwelling unit that contains sleeping accommodation for not more than 2 persons, the area of the combined spaces shall be not less than 13.5m².
