New Building Code Forms Are Now Available
A number of forms issued under the Building Code Act, 1992 have been updated.  These forms include:

  • Application for a Permit to Construct or Demolish;
  • Change Certificate (for Registered Code Agencies – RCAs);
  • Plans Review Certificate (for RCAs);
  • Final Certificate (for RCAs);
  • Certificate for the Occupancy of a Building Not Fully Completed (for RCAs);
  • Order to Comply;
  • Order Not to Cover or Enclose;
  • Stop Work Order;
  • Order to Uncover; and
  • Order Requiring Tests and Samples.

The forms were updated to refer to the current edition of the Building Code (Ontario Regulation 350/06 as amended) and make a number of editorial changes.

Certificates issued by Registered Code Agencies are now also available in French.
